Text in Chinese and English (with the exception of the introduction and a few captions, the rest of the text is exclusively in Chinese). Maroon paper-covered boards in a maroon pictorial paper-covered slipcase. Gilt lettering on front cover and books spine. Gilt decorative front flyleaf included. White lettering on blue slipcase spine (maroon faded to blue from sunning). Covers have light rubbing, else pristine and intact, binding tight, sharp tips. Slipcase has light rubbing and sunning along spine and part of one panel, else clean and intact. Verso of gilt flyleaf has a few scratches, else pages pristine and intact.
