Notes: Near Fine, VERY RARE, 4to, 8" x 8." Gray and black pictorial paper wrappers with staple binding. No lettering to spine. Covers have a few minuscule specks of rubbing, light wear along spine, and slightly bumped tips, else pristine and intact, binding tight. Pages pristine and intact. Replete with black-and-white illustrations. 40 pp., including illustrations. Program for the 1989 National Computer Graphics Association (NCGA) Conference that was hosted by the Computers in Art and Design, Research and Education (CADRE) Institute at San Jose State University (SJSU). The booklet summarizes the features of the NCGA conference including panels, sessions, keynote addresses, a computer animation screening, and group exhibitions. About one page is dedicated per each feature in the conference itinerary. Topics discussed at the conference included "hypermedia," "computer music," "artists & technology," "computer graphics for 3-d design," "the shaping of tele-culture," and "artificial intelligence in the arts," among others. CADRE is still active to this day as the CADRE Laboratory for New Media, which is the central lab for students of SJSU's Digital Media Art (DMA) program.
