Catalog from November 6- 30, 1968 retrospect exhibit Text by artist Michael Heizer who describes Ross' aesthetic "death" forsaking color and opacity for transparency and weightlessness. Charles Ross (1937-) is a UC Berkeley grad who has enjoyed a 50+-year career in art. His contemporaries include Sol Lewitt, Dan Flavin, and Michael Heizer. He's known primarily as an abstract earthwork sculptor, his magnum opus being "Star Axis." An overall Very Good copy of a relatively scarce catalog on a seminal artist.
