Exhibition catalog published on the occasion of a traveling show that featured the ceramic vessels of Otto and Vivika Heino from the collection of Forrest L. Merrill. Otto (1915-2009) and Vivika Heino (1910-1995) were a husband-and-wife duo who made ceramics. They often signed their work as "Vivika + Otto" or "Otto + Vivika." They are best-known for their ceramic vessels featuring simple forms and beautiful glazes. This show was organized by the Ventura County Museum of History & Art and Craft & Folk Art Museum, Los Angeles. The exhibition was held at the Ventura County Museum from March 4-May 22, 2005; the Craft & Folk Art Museum from March 10-July 3, 2005; the Oakland Museum of California in July 2005; and the Mingei International Museum, San Diego in October 2005. Includes essays by Forrest L. Merrill, Kevin V. Wallace, and Tim Schiffer.
