Holds Aladdin & The Wonderful Lamp (Very Good+; Illus. by Fritz Kredel), The Three Bears (Very Good; Illus. by William Moyers), and Joseph and His Brothers (Near Fine; Illus. by Arthur Szyk). All signed by Danish-American actor, editor, and translator Jean Hersholt. The notice of future releases is present for Group 1 in Very Good condition, laid-in Aladdin. 

1949: Very Good- slipcase in red paper, some sunning, minor soiling, and light wear. 1952: Very Good slipcase in red paper, bump to bottom tip, some sunning, minor soiling and wear, and light water spots. Holds King Midas & The Golden Touch (Very Good+; Illus. by Rafaello Busoni), Pandora's Box (Near Fine; Illus. by Fritz Eichenberg), and The Emperor's New Clothes (Very Good+; Illus. by Ervine Metzl). All signed by each respective illustrator. 

1952: Very Good+ slipcase in red paper, some sunning, small chips and wear, light soiling. Holds Jack and the Beanstalk (Near Fine; Illus. by Malcolm Cameron), Hansel & Gretel (Near Fine; Illus. by Henry C. Pitz), and Bluebeard (Very Good; Illus. by Hans Bendix). All signed by Hersholt. 

The Limited Editions Club was founded by publisher George Macy in 1929 with goal of delivering a monthly fine press edition of great works in literature, religion, history, philosophy, and poetry. The press worked with some of the best printers in the US and Europe, and sought the best artists to illustrate runs of 1500 or 2000 copies.
