The majority of illustrations by American architectural delineator, Hugh Ferriss, fall under two sections in this book: "Dreams", with his imaginative drawings of futuristic buildings, and "Realities", showcasing his real-world structures such as the Hoover Dam and Rockefeller Center. Also included are essays that explore Ferriss' professional and artistic careers, and his lasting impact on the profession. This volume is furthered by the addition of excerpts from Ferriss's notes and articles.
