Cloth, Frederic, and Kristina Van Dyke (Curators). Kota: Digital Excavations in African Art (St. Louis: Pulitzer Arts Foundation, 2015).
English, Very Good, HC, 4to or 8vo, 8 1/4" x 8 3/4" x 1/2," unpaginated, includes illustrations.
ISBN: 9780982334782

Very Good brown paper boards backed with black cloth on either side. Black lettering printed on front and back, no lettering to spine. Covers have light age toning, very faint offsetting, and a few bumps to extremities, else clean and intact. Pages pristine and intact. Black-and-white illustrations included. Beautiful exhibition catalogue published on the occasion of a show that was held at the Pulitzer Arts Foundation from October 16, 2015-March 19, 2016. The exhibition was multidisciplinary and featured a variety of artists but was centered upon the theme of Kota, African reliquary sculptures. Fascinating book design. Book reads from left to right in the front half (which comprises the catalogue) and reveals an accordion-fold exhibition checklist from the back cover to the center of the book.
