Garrett, and black-and-white illustrations by American artist A. Jay (Al Shapiro), known for his gay comic strip The Adventures of Harry Chess: The Man from A.U.N.T.I.E. This wonderfully produced vintage gay magazine, self-described in the book as "A funky pictorial for the raunchy male," features plenty of full-page gay interest photographs and five black ink illustrations highlighting beefcake characters. Published by San Francisco-based LGBTQ+ adult store, Le Salon, which ran from 1980 to 2015.
