SIGNED. Fine multicolored pictorial paper wrappers with black lettering on light green spine. Covers have a few small bumps to edges, tips, and head and tail of spine, else pristine and intact, binding tight. Pages pristine and intact. Replete with color illustrations. SIGNED in pencil by one of the authors, Paul J. Karlstrom, to Robert Bechtle and Whitney Chadwick: "For Bob and Whitney, with best wishes, Paul K., 22-X-08." SIGNED ephemera laid in, a note written in blue ink addressed to Robert Bechtle (referred to as "Bob" in the note) from Karlstrom (signed as "Paul" in the note). Beautiful exhibition catalogue published on the occasion of a show that was held at the Hood Museum of Art from October 11, 2008-January 4, 2009. The exhibition featured California watercolors from the collection of Philip H. Greene. This copy belonged to artist Robert Bechtle and art historian Whitney Chadwick.
