Volume One: Minor wear to bottom tips with small tear to front tip. 315 pp. This volume features the wide range of topics captured by Vollmann’s camera, from journalistic assignments in Afghanistan to personal projects such as his self portraits of his transgender alter ego, also showcasing his use a variety of techniques from Kodachrome slides, to gum bichromate and silver gelatin prints.
Volume Two: Light wear to tips. 217 pp. This volume is a collection of Vollmann’s prints, paintings, and sketchbooks, including his sketches from research trips to Madagascar, Patagonia, and Canadian Tundra, Biblical block prints, Norse woodcuts, portraits of sex workers, self-portraits, and portraits of Vollmann's longtime model, Lindsay. Features a three-page foldout.
