Notes: A Very Good book in a Very Good slipcase, 8vo, 8" x 7." Text in Chinese and English (some text exclusively in Chinese while other text). Red paper wrappers in a black paper slipcase. Black lettering on front cover and book spine. Gilt lettering on front of slipcase. Covers have a streak on back and fading along spine and part of front, else clean and intact, binding tight, sharp tips. Slipcase has light rubbing, slight wear to extremities, and a small closed tear measuring the width of top edge (1/4"), else clean and intact. Pages have minuscule age toning, else pristine and intact. Replete with color illustrations of the artist's work. 66 pp., including illustrations. As part of the series, _The Famous Artists Draw the Scenery of Beijing_, this installment features the paintings of Ma Haifang (b. 1956), a Chinese artist. Ma's paintings depicted herein show street vendors and entertainers in Beijing. Some of the paintings have calligraphy.
