First Edition. Very Good red cloth-covered boards with small gilt decoration on front and gilt lettering on spine. Covers have slight wear to extremities and slight fading, else clean and intact, binding tight. Very Good gray paper dust jacket with black lettering on front and spine. Dust jacket has slight browning and slight wear to extremities, and upper-right corner of front flap is price-clipped, else clean and intact, protected in a paper-backed Mylar sleeve. Pages have light age toning, else pristine and intact. Many plates included, most in black-and-white, a few in color. Fascinating biographical monograph about the life and work of the famous Russian goldsmith and jeweller, Peter Carl Faberge (1846-1920). He is perhaps best-known for creating the Faberge egg.
