Very Good brown-gray cloth-covered boards with brown string binding, black lettering on gilt decorative background on front, all edges gilt (including on exposed spine), no lettering to spine. Covers have light to moderate rubbing, worn tips, light to moderate wear to extremities, a small tape ghost on front at top, and a few dampstains on front and back, else clean and intact, binding tight. Pages have light age toning and former owner's inscription in black ink on front free endpaper, else pristine and intact. Beautiful black-and-white illustrations included. A dramatic poem about the famed Italian Renaissance artist, Michelangelo, by American poet Henry Wadsworth Longfellow. Reads like a play.
