Seated" to front panel and 1992 painting "Mornington Cresent-Summer Morning" to back, black lettering to front and spine, minimal foxing to top edge, otherwise sharp tips, tightly bound, and unmarked throughout. Unpaginated, replete with full-color images, includes translucent first and last pages at frontispiece featuring Auerbach's 1994-95 pencil drawing "Head of Catherine Lampert", essays by Paul LeBaron Thiebuad and Richard Wollhiem, a black-and-white photograph of Auerbach, Exhibition Checklist, and Chronology. Beautifully produced catalog that exhibits this German-British painter's figurative work in oil, acrylic, and pencil, while visually displaying his unique textural brushstrokes and brilliant color palettes.
