The featured artist was Josely Carvalho (b. 1942), a Brazilian mixed-media artist. Among the disciplines she has worked in are painting, sculpture, printmaking, photography, and book, video, and installation art. She has addressed a number of themes in her artworks including women's rights, societal issues, memory, and identity. One of her newest projects, _Diary of Smells_, has incorporated the sense of smell to evoke memories and emotions. Her artworks in the _It's Still Time to Mourn_ series ruminate upon the tragedy of war and conflicts in the Middle East. Heavy and oversized items may require additional shipping.
