Bilingual texts in German and Swedish. This is Moderna Museet Stockholm's Exhibition Catalog No. 90, published in conjunction with an exhibition of Joseph Beuys work held January 16 to February 28, 1971. Unpaginated, 195 numbered and titled black-and-white plates, the first half of which are full-page images of Beuys' performance art and appear to be titled _Aktioner Aktionen_. The second half is titled (translated) _Drawings and Objects 1937-1970 from the van der Grinten Collection_. Text is located between these two sections, including essays by Karin Bergqvist Lindegren, K.G.P. Hulten, Dieter Koepplin and Franz Josef van der Grinten. Also includes an interview with Joseph Beuys by Hans van der Grinten, a Chronology, and full numbered catalog. This collection of images, especially the first half, is a prime example of the performance of art known as Happenings that Beuys, teacher, philosopher, one of the founders of the Fluxus movement, helped to develop. Heavy and oversized items may require additional shipping.
