Dark gray paper-covered boards backed with black cloth in a red-orange paper dust jacket. Dust jacket spine possibly sunned. Black lettering on light brown dust jacket spine. Covers have mild rubbing to edges, tips, and head and tail of spine, else pristine and intact, binding tight, sharp tips. Dust jacket is price-clipped and has possible sunning along spine, light age toning, and slight wear along edges and front and back outer joints, else clean and intact. Dust jacket protected in a paper-backed Mylar sleeve. Pages have light age toning and there is a former owner's small bookplate tipped in on front pastedown, else pages pristine and intact. An autobiography by Jade Snow Wong (1922-2006), a Chinese-American ceramicist and author. This memoir chronicles Wong's life from childhood to adulthood and focuses on her identity as a Chinese American and bridging the gap between Chinese-American and traditional Chinese cultures. Wong's ceramics have been exhibited at many noted art institutions across the United States such as the M.
