Andy Warhol's influential pop-culture magazine Interview was first published as Inter/View magazine in 1969, with the first 20 issues being film-focused and printed in black-and-white. This issue of the film magazine covers movies, books, art, music, TV, and Smalltalk with exclusive interviews with 12 people including Elia Kazan, Bob Fosse, Malcolm McDowell, and Ed Ruscha, with a special photo essay on James Dean, and an "at home" column by Candy Darling.
