SIGNED. No date, circa 1900. Very Good original etching printed in black ink (with sepia tones) on white paper. Print has light age toning and slight wear to extremities, else clean and intact. Beautiful original etching by Belgian artist Henri De Smeth (1865-1940). SIGNED by De Smeth in pencil in lower-right corner below the printed area as "De Smeth." The title of the print, "Bruxelles," is handwritten by De Smeth in pencil in lower-left corner below printed area. The etching shows a scene in the city of Brussels in what appears to be a town square surrounded by tall buildings and inhabited by people. There also appear to be tables with umbrellas in the square, one of which may be presided over by a vendor selling flowers to a woman. Two other figures in the foreground also appear to be a father with his child.
