A unique monograph about Erich von Stroheim's The Wedding March (1928), a sound romantic drama film. Von Stroheim also acted in one of the movie's starring roles. Herman G. Weinberg (1908-1983), an American subtitler, film journalist, and author, provides an in-depth look at this film. Sadly, The Honeymoon, which was an alternate movie produced from the same reel of film footage used for The Wedding March, was lost in a fire in 1959. However, Weinberg dedicates a special section to The Honeymoon which features film stills from that lost movie. These film stills are apparently the only graphic representation of The Honeymoon. Included are a Foreword, Credits, Production Stills, Principal Characters, Notes on the Reconstruction of the Film, and stills for both The Wedding March and The Honeymoon.
