Warhol, Andy [ed.], et al. New York: INTER/VIEW Inc., 1972.
English, Good, Ephemera, 16" x 12", 55 pp.

Pictorial folded newspaper-like magazine, quarter-folded, as originally released. Delicate pages, minor toning, some chips and wear to fold and edges, faint black marks from rubbing throughout, and stored in a plastic sleeve. 55 pp. Includes color images to front spread, and black-and-white images. Andy Warhol's influential pop-culture magazine Interview was first published as Inter/View magazine in 1969, with the first 20 issues printed in black-and-white, and focusing its attention on film reviews and interviews. This issue demonstrates the early 1970s shift of focus from the previously film-focused magazine, as it covers music, reviews, sports, and society, with interviews with Mick Jagger, David Bowie, Richard Lindner, Anjelica Huston, Gloria Swanson, among others.
