The famous autobiography by the acclaimed French author and aviator, Antoine de Saint-Exupéry (1900-c. 1944). Saint-Exupéry's narrative centers around the harrowing 1935 plane crash and subsequent trek in the Sahara Desert that he and his mechanic and navigator, Andre Prévot, barely survived. Also central to Saint-Exupéry's account are his thoughts and ruminations about humanity and what makes life important. Translated into English from the original French by Lewis Galantière.
