A stunning book about the history and craft of Islamic weapons and armor from the eighth to the nineteenth centuries. It enables them to present their most detailed and recent investigations into matters as varied as technical aspects of Islamic metallurgy, armour inscriptions, the structure of bows, and Iranian daggers.”
