Niki de Saint Phalle (1930-2002) was a French-American sculptor, painter, filmmaker, and book artist. She is best-known for her large-scale sculptures of women called, "Nanas." Jean Tinguely (1925-1991) was a Swiss artist best-known for his kinetic sculptures known as "Metamatics," which created their own works of art. Excerpt from front flap: "While Jean Tinguely's posters originally seemed like construction sketches for his kinetic objects, they later developed into rotating, abstract color compositions. And, within a short time, Niki's posters became playgrounds for her Nanas. ... For the first time, all 41 of Niki's posters, as well as Jean Tinguely's 87 works, are shown alongside their joint projects. Rarely has advertising seen such colorful joyousness and effervescent merriment." Heavy and oversized items may require additional shipping.
