Kevin Killian (1952-2019) was an American poet, author, playwright, and editor who specialized in LGBTQ+ literature. Killian founded the poetry and performance group, Poets Theater, in San Francisco and was a prominent figure of the San Francisco's New Narrative movement. Ugo Rondinone (b. 1964) is an Italian-Swiss artist. He is perhaps best-known for his abstract totemic sculptures but is also widely recognized for his multidisciplinary approach to his work. He has used various media such as bronze, lead, wax, wood, ink, paint, stone, and soil in his art and has worked in different art disciplines including painting, sculpture, drawing, photography, digital (video and sound) installation, and architecture.
