Covers have slight wear to edges and tips, slight fading and offsetting on front and back, a crease along front outer joint, and fading or sunning along spine, else clean and intact. Page have occasional light foxing and slight wear to extremities, else clean and intact. Replete with illustrations in black-and-white and color, most in black-and-white. 195 pp., including illustrations, Notes, and Index. Published on the occasion of an exhibition that showed at Rutgers University Art Gallery in New Brunswick, New Jersey from January 17-March 26, 1982; Montgomery Museum of Fine Arts in Montgomery, Alabama from April 15-June 13, 1982; and The Art Gallery, University of Maryland in College Park, Maryland from September 7-October 18, 1982. The exhibition featured artworks by American artists associated with Realism and other figurative art movements from 1940-1960. Authored by Greta Berman and Jeffrey Wechsler.
