Folio bound in white boards with white plastic comb binding, signed "Ansel Adams" on inside front fly page. Previous owner's name on signature page, "Ellen Jones, Ansel Adams Workshop, Yosemite, 1959". Nick to front board, some weakening around hinge  but still strong, soiling and stains to title page and Personal Statement, stain to pp 84-85 not affecting text, bumped lower corner, but all plates clean and sharp throughout. Fair dust jacket, stains to front edges, both flaps repaired by white cloth tape, several closed tears along spine. Still functional, protected in Mylar.

30 iconic black-and-white photographs including Mount Rainier, White House Ruin, Old Faithful Geyser, Carlsbad Caverns, and Yosemite Valley. With Adam's passionate introduction, interpretive text and extensive technical notes and data.  Printed by H.S. Crocker, San Francisco on Kromekote paper, Champion Paper and Fibre Co. An artifact celebrating both a master photographer and the American landscape.
