Very Good, 15 1/4" x 11." Text in French. Multicolored pictorial paper folio with loose leaves laid in. Interior leaves have light age toning and minimal wear to extremities, else clean and intact. Replete with color illustrations. The outer folio and Pages 2-3 and 30 are three original prints by Joan Miro that were printed at the press of Adrien Maeght. 31 pp., including illustrations and prints. This is No. 193 of 194 (October-November 1971) of Maeght Editions. This folio features the work of the famous Spanish artist, Joan Miro (1893-1983). Author Jacques Dupin (1927-2012) was a French poet, art critic, and director of publication at Galerie Maeght which represented Miro. Dupin's poems, each of which are a homage to one color and their connection to Miro, are interspersed among illustrations of Miro's paintings on paper. In the back is an essay by Dupin and a laid-in black-and-white pictorial index of Miro's works.
