The show featured the art of Jens Haaning (b. 1965), a Danish conceptual artist whose works often address contemporary geopolitics, the relationship between East and West, and subjects such as immigration, global conflicts, displacement, citizenship, and national identity. Includes an essay by Hou Hanru and an interview between Hanru and Haaning. Acquired from the private library of photorealist, Robert Bechtle and art historian, Whitney Chadwick.
