The illustration on the dust jacket combines with the one on the front cover to create a layered, optical effect. Covers pristine and intact, binding tight, sharp tips. Pages pristine and intact. Includes beautiful color plates of the artist's work, two of which are folding plates. Also includes the artist's business card (rainbow lettering printed on white paper) tipped in on half-title. 45 pp., including plates. Published on the occasion of an exhibition at the Gallery at Takashimaya in New York and Nihonbashi Takashimaya in Tokyo. The show featured Yoshiko Takikawa, a Japanese artist. While Takikawa began her artistic career as a painter, she shifted her focus to working with glass. Her sculptures utilize tinted glass and come in a variety of clean-cut, geometric forms. Some of her sculptures incorporate other materials such as iron. Many of her sculptures depicted herein are those that include metal. Heavy and oversized items may require additional shipping.
