Jingdezhen is located in Jiangxi Province and is China's only institute of higher education dedicated to the ceramic arts. Qiu Han, Chen Min, and Zhang Jianfu all studied at Jingdezhen and are respectively known for depicting the following subjects on their ceramics: landscapes, childhood, and flowers and birds.
