Notes: Very Good, 4to, 11" x 8 1/2." Yellow paper wrappers with black lettering on front and spine. "He Who Is the Greater Is the Servant of the Other" printed on front. Covers have light rubbing, a few faint smudges, slight edge wear, a crease in lower-right corner on front, and slightly bumped tips, else clean and intact, binding tight. Pages have slight edge wear and sticker residue on title page, else pristine and intact. Replete with black-and-white illustrations. Unpaginated, 46 pp., including illustrations. A unique collection of reprinted drawings and handwritten entries by Michael Bowen (1937-2009), an American artist who was a part of the Beat movement and San Francisco Renaissance. Bowen made these sketches and writings in 1969 during his first pilgrimage to India and Nepal. Many of the writings contained herein appear to reflect Bowen's Hindu beliefs.
