Alice Hutchins (1916-2009) was an American artist. She began her career as a painter but shifted gears after changing her medium of choice to magnets. Out of these magnets, Hutchins made a variety of metallic sculptures and assemblages, informed by Hutchin's unique style, the concept of "ready-mades," and the Fluxus movement.
