Published on the occasion of a 1995 exhibition at Adelson Galleries, Inc. in New York. The featured artist was Andrew Stevovich (b. 1948), an American artist. He is perhaps best-known for his oil paintings and pastels but has also made lithographs, etchings, and woodblock prints. Many of his artworks, such as those included herein, depict people who appear to be in the midst of complex narratives and in a flattened aesthetic reminiscent of Giotto and other Italian artists of the late Gothic and early Renaissance periods. Stevovich was also inspired by the art of Paul Gauguin and the German Expressionists. Heavy and oversized items may require additional shipping.
