An exhibition catalog featuring the art of Andy Warhol, with an emphasis on his films, photography, silkscreens, and paintings from 1961-1981. Text by Andy Warhol, Rainer Crone, Carl Haenlein, Jonas Medkas, and Robert Rosenblum. Andy Warhol (1928-1987) was an American artist who became one of the prevailing names in the Pop Art movement. He became well-known for his paintings and silkscreens that portrayed multiples of one subject, such as a Campbell's soup can or Marilyn Monroe. He also worked in a variety of other media such as photography, film, and sculpture. Warhol's artistic legacy was influential in his time and continues to this day.
