Notes: Fine, 4to, 11" x 8." White paper wrappers with staple binding. Black lettering and color illustration on front. No lettering on spine. Covers have a small bump at bottom of fore-edge and a few tiny marks or stains along top and bottom edges on front, else pristine and intact, binding tight. Published on the occasion of a traveling exhibition that began at the High Museum of Art in Atlanta, Georgia. The show featured Ida Applebroog (b. 1929), an American artist. She is perhaps best-known for her paintings and sculptures that address women's rights, gender, violence, and politics. Many of her paintings utilize a series of panels that one might see in comic books to tell a visual narrative about the darker side of domestic life.
