The “In Parallel” installation features art made by Freeman that “investigates, explores, develops and plays with the relations between visual art and music” (from David Brett's essay). The text provides theories about the connection between music and art including historical, neurological, and structural. Freeman collaborates with contemporary musicians and composers to create works of art representative of the music.
