Pictorial monograph featuring the work of acclaimed American photographer Brett Weston (1911-1993). His father was another prominent photographer, Edward Weston. No captions accompany Brett's photos but they speak for themselves and are an excellent showcase of his signature abstract compositions depicting natural subjects. Published by Aperature, Inc., an arts organization founded in 1952 by Ansel Adams, Minor White, Dorothea Lange, and other notable photographers as a way to promote the art of photography. Aperature is still active to this day.
