Published in conjunction with the exhibition of the same name in the Gallery of Art at the University of Northern Iowa from April 2 to April 30, 1978. From Foreword: "The goals of this project are twofold. Without diminishing the importance of Roger Brown and Jim Nutt, exhibition (and its catalogue) should serve to indicate the need to devote individual attention in publications and exhibitions to the following artists: Art Green; Philip Hanson; Miyoko Ito; Gladys Nilsson; Ed Paschke; Christina Ramberg; Barbara Rossi; Karl Wirsum; and Ray Yoshida. It is also the goal of this exhibition to dedicate the future of our Gallery of Art to endeavors of this nature, exhibiting art of the finest quality and significance."
