Fine, multicolored pictorial paper-covered boards backed with beige cloth, black lettering to front and spine. Cover have a slight lean along spine (tilted toward fore-edge when laid flat), else pristine and intact, binding tight, sharp tips. Pages have a small spot of waffling in gutter (not affecting text or illustrations) of Pages 213-218, else pristine and intact. Replete with illustrations in black-and-white and color. Exhibition catalogue published on the occasion of a retrospective of the same name that was organized by the Jewish Museum Berlin and Kulturprojekte Berlin GmbH. The show featured the work of R. B. Kitaj (1932-2007), an American painter of Jewish descent who was based in England for much of his career. Kitaj is perhaps best-known for his figurative paintings featuring bright colors and etched, expressive brushwork.
