Good tall quarto, black cloth over boards, stamped gilt and blind-stamped lettering to front and spine, many spots soiling to front and back panel, soiling spots near fore-edge on page 94, does not interfere with text, 2 spots soiling to page after front free endpaper, rubbing to bottom edge, top and bottom tips, head and tail of spine, bumping to bottom tips and tail. Fair cream dustjacket with black, white, and gold-brown illustration to top half of panel, gold-brown lettering to front, gold and black lettering to spine, edgewear, rubbing and chipping to tips, minimal spoiling to front and back panel, rubbing and creasing to head and tail, approximately ¼” chipping to head and tail joints. Text in Czech, Illustrations by Josef Liesler, replete with beautiful black, white, and gold-brown illustrations, headpieces, and tailpieces, Czechoslovak poet, Kamil Bednar, interprets short poems, stories, and dramas of Jeffers's work.
