Dark green cloth-covered boards in a black paper dust jacket. Gilt lettering on front cover and book spine. Color illustration and white lettering on front panel. White lettering on dust jacket spine. Covers have slight wear to edges and a small bump to lower tip of fore-edge on front, else pristine and intact, binding tight, sharp tips. Dust jacket has light rubbing and a few small bumps and slight wear to edges and tips, else clean and intact, not price-clipped. Pages pristine and intact. Replete with printed color photographs, 50 in total, each corresponding to one artwork. Exhibition catalogue published on the occasion of a show of the same name. The exhibition featured Chinese art spanning a time period of over sixty centuries from the Neolithic period to the nineteenth century. Most of the printed photos herein appear to show vessels and small-scale sculptures although a variety of other art objects are included such as jewelry, a lamp, and a dagger.
