Four pieces of ephemera laid in, namely, a newspaper article relating to Helen and Alan Post, an invitation to a talk by the couple in an envelope addressed to Cheryl, and two Solomon Dubnick Gallery show cards. Covers have light age toning, slight bumping to edges and tips, and a slight crease in upper-right corner on front, else pristine and intact. Pages pristine and intact. Replete with color illustrations. SIGNED by Helen Post (as "Helen Post") and Alan Post (as "Alan Post") in black ink on title page. Their signatures are addressed to "Cheryl." Ephemera have a few wrinkles and stray marks, else clean and intact. An exhibition catalog published on the occasion of a dual retrospective of the Sacramento-based artist couple, Helen Post and Post. The show was held at the Solomon Dubnick Gallery in Sacramento. Helen Post (1915-2010) was a painter and sculptor but is perhaps best-known for her bronze semi-abstract sculptures. Alan Post (1914-2011) was a painter. The retrospective featured Helen's sculptures and Alan's paintings spanning the years between 1938 and 2002.
