Stiff cream colored perfectbound wraps, black and red lettering to cover and spine, cover image repeated on back, cover art unsigned but later attributed to Robert Bonfils, noticeable tear in center of back cover affecting the final 15 pages of the book, but not readability, previous owner nameplate affixed to verso of front cover, some rubbing and soiling to covers, pages age toned as usual for pulp paperbacks, faint blue stamp to bottom edge, else clean, tightly bound, showing no chips, and otherwise unmarked throughout. 155 pp. plus 4 pp. mail-order information at the back. I Am Dying, Egypt is the story of alcoholic ex-stuntman Sam Corrigan's search for the only person of late to stir feelings in him, the elusive Johnny Gray.
