Mustard cloth-covered boards with gilt and black lettering to front and spine. Original tipped-in color illustration on front. Covers have slight surface wear and rubbing to front, else pristine and intact, binding tight, sharp tips. Pages have light age toning, else pristine and intact. Tipped-in color plates included. Exhibition catalogue published on the occasion of a show that was held at the Oakland Museum from December 1, 1990-March 3, 1991; the Los Angeles County Museum of Art from April 25-July, 1991; and the Norton Gallery and School of Art in West Palm Beach, Florida from November 9, 1991-January 5, 1992. Among the California artists represented in the show were Edward Biberman, Franz Arthur Bischoff, Jessie Arms Botke, Rinaldo Cuneo, James Fitzgerald, Arthur Hill Gilbert, Armin Carl Hansen, Thomas Lorraine Hunt, Kathryn Woodman Leighton, and Helen Lundeberg.
