Plates and leaves of text are printed on white paper. Portfolio has moderate age toning (most noticeable on front illustration), light rubbing, and slight wear to extremities, else clean and intact. Plates and text have minor wear to extremities and light age toning, else pristine and intact. Charming set of loose-leaf color plates showing 12 vintage racing cars manufactured between 1907-1960. Commentary by Laurence Pomeroy (1883-1941), an English automotive engineer. Illustrations by George A. Oliver, a Scottish artist, illustrator, and car enthusiast. Each plate is accompanied by one leaf of text describing the featured car.
