A book collaboration between Akira Uno (b. 1934), a Japanese underground artist who also goes by the alias of Aquirax Uno, and Shuji Terayama (1935-1983), a Japanese avant-garde author, playwright, film director, and photographer. Uno is perhaps best-known for his erotic illustrations, like the ones featured in this book, and he frequently collaborated with Terayama for the latter's Tenjo Sajiki, an experimental theater. Terayama became well-known for his avant-garde and experimental work and was an artistic pioneer in his time.
