Duncan, Robert, Faust Foutu, A Comic Masque, Stinson Beach, California: Enkidu  Sur Rogate, 1960. Softcover 4to, 8 ½” x 7 ⅛”, 72 pp.

Very Good staplebound with yellow card wraps, green and black design to front. One of 750 copies, text in English, typed in black and blue ink.  A play published in multiple volumes, this being technically the third print but the first publication of the work in its entirety. Penned by Bay Area author and artist Robert Duncan who was loosely associated with the Beat poets, a satire in which Duncan cast Jack Spicer, Larry Jordan, Michael McClure, Ida Hodes, Helen Adam, and his partner, Jess Collins who performed a seated reading of the work at the avant-garde Six Gallery in San Francisco. Features Duncan’s illustrations throughout. A fun remnant of California counterculture by a notable LGBTQ+ artist.
