Choral and orchestral sheet music to four songs inspired by four poems of St. Teresa. Intended for contralto. Lennox Berkeley (1903-1989) was an English composer. He studied under the noted French composer, Nadia Boulanger, and also became acquainted with other notable musicians of the time including Darius Milhaud, Francis Poulenc, and Igor Stravinsky. Berkeley was a longtime Professor of Composition at the Royal Academy of Music who taught from 1946-1968.
