Replete with black-and-white printed photomontages by Grete Stern. 352 pp., including illustrations. Published on the occasion of an exhibition organized by Ravello Festival 2004 in collaboration with L'Istituto Italo-Latino Americano and Fondazione CEPPA. The show featured the _Los Suenos_ photomontages of Grete Stern (1904-1999), a German-Argentine photographer. This photomontage series by Stern were part of an collaboration between her and _Idilio_, a weekly illustrated women's magazine, from the late 1940s to early 1950s. Readers were encouraged to submit their dreams in writing to the magazine. Each week, one submission would be selected and analyzed by an "expert" and then interpreted by Stern in visual form. Thus, the photomontages of the _Los Suenos_ series are very surreal in quality. Text accompanies each photomontage contained herein. Edited by Cesare de Seta and Irma Arestizabal. Heavy and oversized items may require additional shipping.
